Haris flow measurement system, takes of all flow measurement and monitoring system needs with maximum efficiency. The system comprisesof a paddle wheel sensor, digital flow meter and sensor installagionfittings.

Principle of Operations.

The most commonlyemployed measurement principle is to measure the liquid's velocity andthe pipe area Flow rate = Velocity x Area.

Haris paddle wheelflow sensor, works on this simple but accurate principle. Four bladesspin past  a sensor in the housing body. As the fluid flow causes therotor to rotate, a signal is produced proportional to the flow rate.Thedesign of the rotor ensures a linear repeatableoutput up to a flowvelocity of 7m/sec with an accuracy of ± 0.06 m/s.

The signalis fed to the fully digital, user programmable Flow meter for a digitaldisplay of flow rate & totalized flow. The PDLC 4080B can be usedfor batching applications. HARIS Flow meter allows field calibration ofsensor for achieving maximum accuracy. Advanced digital damping filterwith users settable time factor ensures steady readings in pulsatingflow conditions. In the event of power failure the non volatile memoryretain its configuration and fertilizer data.

The RS 232communication for PC interface is a standard feature in all HARIS flowmeter. Combined with a powerful data logging software , this optionprovides a cost effective data logging solutions.
